New Hebrides and other islands in the Pacific yesterday. The Mavis will be used by Bishop J. M. Stewart tn the Soloman Islands and will be towed 2000 miles by the steamer. Mail liner Niagara left Sydney yesterday afternoon for Auckland, where Bhe is due on Monday. She will berth at Queen's Wharf, and is scheduled to continue hex voyage to Vancouver, via Suva and Honolulu, at eleven o'clock the following day. CARGO FROM AUSTRALIA. Spedding, Ltd., are the local agents. CANADIAN CHALLENGER. The Canadian Government steamer Canadian Challenger is to sail at five o'clock this evening for Wellington. Lyttelton.
