BISCUIT WORKERS' HOURS.
DISPUTE AGAIN ADJOURNED. Hearing of the dispute between the Auckland biscuit manufacturers and the factory workers was continued yesterday, when a dispute committee met. Mr. H. Warner presided. Messrs. H. R. Jones, C. G. Mc T idoe and S. E. Wright represented the employers and Messrs. W. t*. Hancock. R. E. Blake and G. Stone the workers. A The question of hours was discussed, but no agreement was reached. ine workers' representatives asked for a **■ hours week, the employers hoMmg that the hours should be the same as those in Southern centres, which were 48 for male workers and 45 for females. _ , . An adjournment was made vn order to allow the workers' representatives to confer with Southern unions.
