WEDDINGS.

A very pretty wedding took place in the Presbyterian Church, Devonport, last. Wednesday evening when Edna, younger daughter of Mrs. McMaster, of Stanley Bay, was married to Derwent Raoui, elder son of Mr. and Mts. C. W. Garrard, of Remuera. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Harries. The bride entered the church-on the arm of her uncle, Mr. Merson, of Taumarunui, and was frocked in ivory brocaded crepe de chine embroidered in silver The bridal veil, falling from a coronet of pearls and orange blossoms, formed a train, and she carried a shower bouquet of white fiowers. The brids was attended by Miss Muriel McMaster, in powder blue, and Miss Webster, in pale pink crepe de chine. Both wore plaited bandeaux of silk tulle in blue and pink, and carried shower bouquets to match their frocks. Mr. W. R. Garrard, of Rotorua, \ was best man and Mr. Roy McMaster groomsman. A pretty evening wedding took place on March 8, in the Presbyterian Church; Huntly, when Miss Annie Tapp, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tapp, Waikokowai, was married to Mr. James Ginn, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ginn, Papatoetoe. The Rev. Gibb performed the ceremony. The bride, who entered the church on the aim of her father, wore a frock of ivory satin with a trail! to match, caught with orange blossom. The tulle veil was worn with a coronet of orange blossom, and she carried a shower bouquet in tones of cream and pale pink roses. Miss Gladys, sister of the bride, wore apple green satin, finished with lovers* knots, and a tulle cap trimmed with silver leaves. She carried a bouquet 'to tone. Little Sheila McKinnon and Kathleen Richards were flower girls, and wore dainty frocks of pink with bandeaux, finished with posies to match. Mr. George Ginn acted as best man.
