SIBERIAN FORESTS.
SOVIET GIVES CONCESSION. JAPANESE TIMBER CONCERN. A. and N.Z. MOSCOW. April 3. The Soviet has granted to the Japanese Far Eastern Timber Syndicate a forestry concession over 2,700,000 acres of land. The site is on the shore of Tartar Strait, which divides the island of Sakhalin from tha mainland'* of Siberia north of Japan.
