" ■ DEPARTURE FOR BRISBANE. STRENUOUS TOUR ALTERED. (■Received April 4, 8.12 p.m.) A. and i£.Z. ' SYDNEY. April 4. The Dwke and Duchess of York left Sydney tljis morning for Brisbane. The Royal train called at Newcastle, where, in spite of the pouring rain, Their Royal 'Highnesses were warmly greeted by large -crowds. Out of consideration for the Duke and Duchess their northern tour has been somewhat jmodified, in order to enable them to have some rest at the various stopping places.
