LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
PARNELL CLUB.
The annual meeting of the Parnell League Football Club was held on Thursday evening, Mr. J. A. Lee, M.P., presiding over a large attendance. The annual report- recorded a very successful season. In the senior B grade the club's team was runner-up for the Stailard Cup. while the fourth grade team won the championship in its grade. Financially the club was .in a strong position, there being a credit balance of £lB 7s. Assets amounted to £69.
The election of officers resulted as follows :—Patron. Mr. J. A. Lee, M.P.; chairman. Mr. F. Hunter: honorary secretary, Mr.- A. R. Turner; treasurer. Mr G. H. Danes; delegate to Auckland .Rueby League. Mr P. Barry; delegate to Junior Management Committee, Mr. L. Heilhurn; committee. Messrs. Brockliss, "Wilson, Thompson. O'Brien, Anderson; vice-presidents, same as last year, with power to add; eh b captain, deferred until next meeting.
