MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. Kuramii.—The cleaning out and re-, timbering of the Old Battery level has been extended 30ft. making a total of 179 ft. There is no change in- this level, the timbers are all rotten and the level broken down and full of mullock, j)ld timber and slush. Maoriland.—The No. 4 level has been advanced 15ft. Although the end of the break has not been reached the ground is not as heavy as previously, and it is expected that the break will be got through at any time now.
