It is, however, computed that he won stakes to the value of about £9OOO when racing in New Zealand. Man-o'-War is rising fourteen years old. NOTES BY PICADOR. OTAHUHU CLUB'S MEETING. A visit to Alexandra Park reveals that everything is in perfect order for the holding of the Otahuhu Trotting Club's meeting, and with many horses engaged from districts outside the local area the approaching gathering at the Ep3om ground on Saturday and Wednesday promises to be highly successful under all headings. The leading event of Saturday's programme' is, of course, the Otahuhu Cup, in which the following attractive field is engaged:— Billy Sea . . Lt. Yds bhd. Auto Machine Lt. Locanda Mac 24 Stanmoor . . GO Bessie Logan . ; 12 Elzear is not eligible to start in the Trial Handicap and has been rehandicapped in the Mount Albert Handicap. She is now 120 yds behind in the latter race. W. J. Tomkinson arrived from Christchtirch this morning with Concliff, Elaear and Direct Wood.
