Vincent last' evening Cloudy and unsettled weather is indicated, with heavy and considerable rain following. Rivers flooded. Easterly to northeasterly winds, strong to gale. Seas heavy. A tropical disturbance of cyclonic character is at present centred in the vicinity of Lord Howe Island, north-west-ward of the Dominion, and is moving south-eastward. The Government meteorologist reported last evening as follows:—Present indications are for variable and strong winds, north-east to south-east ruling; expect dull, warm and humid conditions.
