INTER.CLUB MEETING. MATCHES AT PENROSE. The Akarana and City and Suburbs Rifle Clubs held an inter-club rifle meeting at the Penrose range on Saturday. Three men's matches and a ladies' match comprised the programme, the ladies' trophies being pre sented by Messrs. T. Elliott, sen., E. J. C, R'estou and G. G. Ashley, while Messrs. A and W. Powell were donors of the trophj for the highest aggregate scorer. This prize was won by R. C. Russell (City anc Suburbs), with a total of 143, other scorers being:—S. Elliott (Akarana), 138; A.
