Sir, —I noticed by your paper a correspondent is in search of a Maori name for a house Situated in view of Mount Eden, Mount Albert, Mount Roskil.l and the Waitakere Ranges, etc. I would like to suggest a few names as follows:-« Kai-nga-Teitoi, high home; Kainga Maraina, bright home; Kite-Koa, pleasant sight; Matakitaki, look-out; Puko-Marama, clear hill: Puke-Ora, healthy hill; Rangiatea, bright daylight; Taamata, hill point; Whare-Roa, pleasant house; Whare-Ora, safe house. McDonnell.
