The extremists hoped to increase their representation on the executive of the Parliamentary Labour Party, in the ballot for which there vers 30 nominations for 12 seats. Mr. Arthur Henderson and Mr. Tom Johnston, however, replace Mr. Tom Shaw and Mr. Stephen Walsh. The latter did not seek re-eiection. The other ten members were re-electcd. The executive remains overwhelmingly jnoderate.
