NORTHCOTE FIRE BRIGADE.
A very enjoyable smoke concert to mark the close of the year's activities was held last evening in the Masonic Hall, Northcote, under the auspices of the Northcote Municipal Fire Brigade. Captain W P. Roberts, who presided, was presented by Mr. J. F. Jackson, with an extra two years' service bar, on the completion of 11 years of service in the Sri cade. A number of toasts were honoured and an enjoyable musical programme given.
