THE TE WERA STATION.
INSPECTION BY MINISTER. [BY TELEGBAIB.—PRESS ASSOCIATION. ] GISBOENE, Tuesday. The Te Wera station, of 10,000 acres, recently purchased by the Crown, was inspected yesterday by the Minister of Lands, Hon. A. D. McLeod, who said that, generally speaking, it had come up to his expectations and he had no fault to find with the executive officers who recommended the purchase. He was satisfied the land could be cut into 12 or 13 sheep farms at least, and probably a portion, of the property could be devoted fco mixed farming.
