THE SCHOONER HIKURANGI.
Sir, —I notice that mention was made recently of the schooner Hikurangi as built by Henderson's firm .of shipbuilders. The schooner was built by Mr. John Callaway at Kikowhakarere, Coromandel, and christened by his daughter the " Christina." She was launched about 1873 or 1874 and was sold to Henderson am Spraggon She was afterwards altered anj renamed the Hikurangi. She was one c many built by the same person. C. Whitehead.
