"0 that mine enSmy would -write a book!" We have changed since Biblical days; now a man says, " 0 that my friend would give me a book." Probably he will; the habit of giving books for Christmas is becoming popular, owing to the saving of time and trouble to the giver, the pleasure given to the recipient, and the large array of all sorts of books, at every price, in the shops.
