CHFfiSTCHURCH FINANCES. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRES POSDENT. ] CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. On the ground that it is the private business of Gipsy Smith and does not concern the genera! public, the Christchurch Gipsy Smith Mission Committee has decided not to disclose the amount of the collections received by the evangelist on the, final Sunday night of th« mission, or the proceeds of his lectur# on Monday, December 6. The committee ako decided at a meeting lar>t even> in" to withhold from publication the. amount received front the safe of hymn books for a similar reason, but states that about 1400 hymn book!- allocated to Christchurch were unsold and that the Gipsv will sustain a loss on them. There was a credit balance of £-10 l'-» lid in connection with 1J» lawsi#!**
