LATE REV. J. ENWRIGHT.
TRIBUTE BY PRESBYTERY. Sincero appreciation of the work of tho lata Rev. J. Enwright, of St. Enoch's Church, Morningside, was expressed by the Auckland Presbytery last evening. A statement read by the Ruv. D. C, Ilerron said that Mr. Enwright was for-, merly Father Andrew, of the Roman Catholic Church, Nineteen yews ago he left that communion and after serving for about six years in the Congregational Church of Australia he found a sphere with the Presbyterian Church. His ministry in Australia was spoken of as being highly successful. Ho was genial and courteous and possessed of a distinct gift of oratory. He was blameless in character and his evangelical fervour and power in preaching never waneci. A resolution of sympathy with the.relatives was passed.
