TROWERN BEATS PURDY. v GOOD BOUT AT WANGANUI. [BY TELEGBAPH.—OPBESS ASSOCIATION.] WANGANUI.'Monday. In a boxing contest for a puse of £l5O R. Trowern beat C. Purdy on points tonight. The fight went the full 15 rounds, with Trowern always the aggressor. Both boxers showed marked cleverness, the fight being one of the best ever seen here.
