I FARM TRAINING IN BRITAIN. SCHEME LAUNCHED BY Y.M.C.A. A. and N.Z. LONDON. Dec. 10 Major I. 11. Young, presiding at the i annual luncheon of tha National Council of the Young Men's Christian Association. sai<s the association was opening a number of farms where intending migrants would receive elementary farm training. The completed scheme would suffice to train 2000 migrants each year. Major Young said it was generally recognised that the prime cause of failures in a life overseas was the lack of suitable preparation.
