During-, the recent New Zealand and South 'Seas ' Exhibition, some very finsexamples: of needlework were displayed •}» tho women's section, and included in these were valuable heirlooms. When the section was Being dismantled two articles were lost. One of them wa;s an old christening veil, about 25 inches square, and the other article was a of cross* stitched slippers, stated, to bo 60 years old. The directors are anxious t<« return thern and would, welcome, any information Regarding their whereabouts.
