WAR CROSS FOR NEWCASTLE. FRENCH GIFT TO AUSTRALIA. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Eecd. 6.25 p.m.) LONDON. Dec. 10. The Dean of Newcastle, New South Wales, will head the Australian delegation to the celehration of the birthday of Toe H, to be held at Manchester tomorrow. There he will receive from the hands of the Prince of Wales a cross, taken from the grave of an Unknown Soldier in France, to be placed next to tho lamp presented by Lord Forster, formerly Governor-General of Australia, to the Warrior's Chapel in the Newcastle Cath- . edral.
