DELAY TO STEAMERS.
THE ATUA AND NAVUA. TROUBLE OVER CREWS' ARTICLES. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] BUNEDIN, Friday. The steamers Atua and Navua, which were due to sail to day for Westport, Australia and Egypt, were delayed at Port Chalmers owing to some trouble regarding a condition under which the crews are shipped. There appears to be considerable secrecy regarding what the trouble really is, but it is stated that the crews object to a condition said to have been included in the articles under which they will be required to work their passage back from Egypt to Sydney, instead of being brought back as ordinary passengers.
