AUCKLAND POULTRY CLUB.

—— 11 ' VERY SATISFACTORY YEAR. THE ELECTION OF OFFICERS. « Tho annual meeting of the Auckland Poultry, Pigeon and Canary Club was presided ova' by the president, Mr, G. 11. Ambler. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. The president congratulated members on the satisfactory state of the balance-sheet., which showed a satisfactory credit balance. He aliso referred to the very successful show held during the year, exhibit!! having been sent from all parts of the North Island. Main had marred the attendance somewhat, and this had had its effect on the takings. He deplored the fact that a. large sum had been paid for the biro and carting of pena for tho show and considered the time opportune for the club to secure pens of its own.

Mr. Ambler expressed regret at tho death of Mr. Evans, who had been one of the most enthusiastic and hard-working members of tho club.
