WEDDINGS.
A pretty wedding took placo at St. Jameri' Anglican Church, Ardmore, on Wednesday evening, when Miss Annie Stokea,;daughter ot Mr. and Mrs.; Clamioa Stokes, o£ Ardmorc, was married to Mir. Leonard Mitchell, son of Mr, and Mrs, A. L. Mitchell, of Epsom. The ceremony was .conducted by the vicar, the Rev, W. H. Rattray. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a cream gown and the traditional bridal veil. She wfis attended by her sister, Miss Clarice Stokes, and the bridegroom's sister, Mijss Elsie Mitchell, as bridesmaids. Mr. Ijeslie Mitchell, brother of the bridegroom, carried out the duties of best man, : A very pretty wedding took placo on Friday at St. Barnabas' Church, Mount Eden, when Miss Violet Alice Pocock, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pocock, of Lymiiigton, Hampshire, England, ■' -was married to Mr, K. White, fourth son of the late Mr, and Mrs. David M. White, Da illy, Ayrshire, Scotland. The Rev. Bamford officiated. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of ber guardian, Mr. H. S. Clemmett, wore a gown of white silk and lace, embroidered with pearls, and her veil was held in p'lace with a wreath of orange blossom, She carried a bouquet of white roses and carnations, ' The bride was attended by Miss N. Dunbar, of Glen Aftoil, niece of the bridegroom, who wore a frock of white' iiilk, trimmed with lace;, and a pale blue wreath and veil. She carried a posy of cream roses.. Mr. 'S. J, R, Burtenshaw attended the bridegroom as best man.
