HESKETH PEARSON CASE

The prosecution of Hosketh Pearson, the writer, who is charged with false pretences in connection with the book, "'The Whispering Gallery," was resumed to-day. Mr. Allen Lane of the firm of John Lane, Ltd., the publishers of the book, in his evidence said Pearson told him that he had written the book from Sir Rennell Rodd's diary, with Sir Rennell's approval. The case was adjourned until next Saturday, when Sir Rennell Rodd is expected to give evidence.
