AUCKLAND STOCK EXCHANGE FAIR BUSINESS TRANSACTED. Fair business was transacted on the Auckland sharemarket. at the single call on Saturday morning. In Government securities Inscribed Stock, the 1936 issue, had sale at £lOl. There was further inquiry at £IOO 15s, no sellers quoting. Demand was easier for several classes of War Bonds and offers declined slightly. No holders quoted. In banks New Zealands were quoted, ex div., at 58s 9d and 60s. Western Australians sold at 54s 9d. In insurance buyers of New Zealands and South British were easier at 37s 3d and 55s 6d respectively. In gas Aucklands were done; at 23s 9d, the current price, at which more were wanted, sellers 245. In miscellaneous Wilsons Cement again sold at 33s 6d. The market closed at 33s and 345. In mining Alburnias changed hands at 3s 9d, the current figure. More were wanted at 3s Bd, sellers 3s lid. Moanataiaris, the contributing issue, sold at 5s 3d. The market closed easier, at 5s id and 5s 3d. Lucky Shots were done at is 7d. The following sales took placer—lnscribed Stock, 1936, 5£ per cent., £101; Western Australian Bank, 54s 9d; Auckland Gas, 23s 9d; Wilsons Cement, 33s 6d; Alburnia, 3s 9d ; Moanataiari, contributing issue, 5s 3d; Lucky Shot, Is 7d. CALL AND DIVIDEND LIST. Dividends— Due. Bank of New Zealand—Half yearly Now. Devonport Perry—Half-yearly, 7| p.c. per ann. Dec. 14. Mount Lyell—Div., Is; bonus, 3d Dec. '2O. AUSTRAL MALAY RUBBER CO. DIVIDEND OF 13£ PER CENT. The Austral Malay Rubber Company, Limited, shows a profit of £9525 for the year ended June 30, compared with £2098 for the previous year. During the year the whole of the debentures issued by the company, totalling, with interest, £4210, were discharged. The profit is thus considerably understated. - Two dividends, amounting to . £6837, have been paid, equal to 10£ per cent., and it is proposed to pay another 3 per cent., totalling £1953. A sum of £2624 will thus be carried forward, against £IBBB brought into the account. Until February last the company was operating under the Stevenson restriction scheme, and the crop harvested for the year was 159,3181b. The all-in cost amounted to Is 2|d, but included in this sum are items which will not recur. Twenty-six tons of copra was also produced during the year. The economy campaign in the United States has reduced stocks of rubber there, and it is expected that a heavy demand from that country will shortly set in. PROPERTY SALES. Actir-s under instructions from the Public Trustee as Administrator in the Estate of Charles Tims, deceased, George WJfeer offered at auction, on Friday, the property known as Number 354, Manukau Ro&d. Epsom, having a frontage of 156 links by a depth of '272.7 links with 5-roemed dwelling. The su'm of £IBOO was offered at auction, but was declined, the property afterwards being disposed of by private treaty for £I9OO cash.
