WIRELESS FOR HOSPITAL.
EXAMPLE FROM SYDNEY. A suggestion was made by a correspondent in Friday's Herald that a wireless installation with headphones ,/would he appreciated by the patients in the Auckland Hospital. Another correspondent has forwarded a report of tha equipment of the Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney. The apparatus isnd material ware apparently provided by local residents, and the work of installation was earned out by members of the Australian Postal Electricians' Union without payment. Sixty members of the union gave their services, and working at high speed throughout one afternoon, completed the installation of the receiving set and of headphones at 150 beds.
