COLLECTION OF INSECTS.
GIFT TO DOMINION MUSEUM. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PREPS ASSOCIATION.] DUNE'D'IN. Sunday. It has been announced that the valuable collection of insects resulting from the lifetime hobby cf the late Mr. C.„C Fenwick, of Anderson's Bay, is to be presented to the Dominion Museum in Wellington, where it can be suitably housed. Th*e collection, which is estim ated to contain quite 4000 separate speci mens, possesses peculiar scientific value from the fact that it has been gathered for the most part in Otago and South land, and represents phases of insect life characteristic :of these parts The Fen wick Collection, as it will be known, should constitute a valuable addition to the entomological exhibits in the Dominion Museum.
