MOUNT ALBERT CATHOLICS.

REMARKABLE ACHIEVEMENT. Something in the way of & record has been achieved by the Roman Catholics of Mount Albert. Three months ago they decided to build a primary school in Alberton Road, by voluntary labour. The school is well advanced and likely to be completed by February 2. In order not to add to the parish indebtedness the parishioners undertook to launch a bazaar and sale of work. The bazaar ran re cently for four-; nights in the concert chamber, Town Hall The last function took place on Wednesday night in Mount Albeirt, when Miss Ida Kiely was crowned queen, and Father Gondnnger, on behalf of the Manst Fathers, announced that the school, though yet unfinished, was already free of debt, It lis only £ few month's since the parishioners built a very hand some presbytery, which, with , its beautiful grounds, is one of the features of Mountain Road,
