THE WAY WITH RIBBONS.
Be-ribboned hats have arrived with the hot weather, These may be a happy millinery inspiration or an unhappy one, according to the amount of discretion mixed with the trimming. A hat surmounted by ribbon bows stands a chance of being picturesque, but it takes a clever milliner, professional or amateur, to make it so. Ribbon can look depressingly flat and heavy, and feel even heavier. Only those who possess deft fingers, or can afford to employ someone | who has, can experiment with ribbon trimming.
