DOG UPSETS CYCLISTS.

While riding on motor-cycles along Great Sonth' Goad yeatarday afternoon Donald Bawnsley, aged 19, and Horace Whyte. aged 20, both of fapatoetoe, collided with a dog, and both tyclists: wsr* thrown heavily on to th» concrete highway. ' Rawnsiey sustained a wound ahove the left eye, but after medical attention was able to proceed to his home. Whyte remounted his machine, but collapsed on reaching Papatoetoe, and was conveyed to the Auckland Hospital. Examination made last evening revealed that he bad sustained a fracture of the left leg.
