MANUREWA DISTRICT. SECONDARY SCHOOL WANTED. /The Auckland Education Board met yesterday, the chairman, Mr, A. Burns, presiding. The question of providing a secondary school far the district covering Papakura, Takanini, Manurewa and Papatoetoe was referred to in a letter received from the Education Department. It was stated that the Minister of Education had been approached by a committee at Manurewa and the department asked that a comprehensive report should be submitted, showing the support likely to be received from the district. It was decided to obtain the necessary information from the committee.
