GIRLS' SPORTS.

TWO TROPHIES PRESENTED. ' An athletic contest similar to that held by the Inter-house Girls' Sports Association last week, will take place at Carlaw Park on Saturday., The sports, are open, to .teams pi girls. representing any club, organisation. or business house not represented. in the sister movement. Twenty teams will compete. V; An, interesting programme of. running and novelty events has been arranged and ether attractive features- will" be a massed display of marching and physical exercises, country dances in costume, •classic dancing, and exhibition hockey •and basketball matches.

A challenge cup has been presented by the Herald and will be awarded to the team gaining the Highest total of points. A cup .for the team which is ran-tier-up has been presented by Mr. Pratt, of the Northern Holler Mills.
