Reakes, Director-General of Agriculture, is at the Star Hotel. Mr. D. Macfarlane, of Wellington, and Mr. A. E. Harding, of Dargavilie, are at the Hotel Cargon. Mr. J. A. Isaacs, of Sydney, and Mr. Beaumont Smith, Mr. T\. G. Begg and Mr. F. Bushell, of Wellington, are at the Grand HoteL Mr. L. Edwards, of W&Uington, Mr. A. G. Henderson, of Christchurch, Mr. B. Hughes, and Mr. P. Raboiie, of Palmerston North, and Mr. H. S. Mackay, of Wanganui, are at (ho Star HoteL Mr. and Mrs. William Elliot, of Mountain Road, arrived in Auckland yesterday, having travelled from England by the Ruahine, which reached Wellington on Sunday. Mr. C. W. Aidney, manager at Tonga for Morris Hedstrom, Limited, arrived at Auckland by the Tofua last evening. He is accompanied by Mrs. Aidney and their children, and they will spejid a holiday in New Zealand. Mr. C. R Orr-Walker, S.M., who has been relieving Mr. F. W. Platts, S.M., in the King Country district, presided over the Magistrate's Conrt at Auckland yesterday.
