BODY IN SWAMPY CREEK.
DISCOVERY NEAR HAWERfI. [ISY TKtEGRAPH.—PBESS ASSOCIATION.} HAWERA, Monday. A discovery, which it is believed will elucidate the mystery surrounding the disappearance of a Maori youth, ■ Tommy Tumoana, from his home near Hawera about- two months ago, was made yesterday, when a body answering his description was retrieved from a swampy creek on a farm adjoining the property on which the boy lived with his parents. The body showed signs of immersion lor a considerable time.
