SUN IGNITES FIREWORKS.
INCIDENT AT WANGANUI. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. 1 WANGANUI, Monday. Tha Concentration of the sun's rays on a shop window containing large supplies of fireworks for Guy Fawkes Day caused a commotion yesterday afternoon, A string of crackers set things going and there was for a short time a series of firing resembling a barrage by machineguns. The fire brigade's services eventually put an end to "the fireworks display.
