MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. Moanataiari.—The mine manager telegraphed yesterday as follows:—On the east crofiscut we have bored into a strong body of Quartz." The weekly report is as follows:—The east crosscut has been advanced 9ft., a total of 670 ft. We have passed through several quartz veins varying from *in. to lin. in width, and thia morning wo cut another leader about In. wide underlying about one in 5. Very little of it has been broken but v/h-it is showing looks very promising. There is a fair , flow of water coming from the face. On No. 9 reef, we have been timbering hillwards of the crosscut and started breaking quartz again yesterday. The reef hero is about 6ft. wide and some of the quartz looks promising. New Waiotahi. —Work going hillward on the Waiotahi-Cambria reef has been confined to timbering and breaking down tho hangingwall of the reef which is along the richt-hand side of the drive. The reef continues a strong body of ore carrying the usual mineralisation. Driving seaward from the bottom of the winze on the WaiotahiCambria reef has been advanced 6ft. for the week. This face is about the spot where gold was got- in the level above and the quartz broken is of the same nature.
