SHORTAGE OF CLERGY.
CHURCH OF ENGLAND'S NEED Strn. LONDON, Oct. 27. At A meeting of religious organisations it was stated that there are now 4500 fewer clergy in the Church of England than there were 20 years ago. This in spite of the increased need for clergy both at home and abroad.
