SERIOUS OFFENCES.
MANY CHARGES PROVED. A verdict of guilty on all counts was returned by the jury in ttio Supreme Court yesterday in the case of William Ernest Snelling, aged 46, painter (Mr. Sullivan), against whom were preferred nine charges of indecently assaulting two girls, one of o carnal knowledge and one of alleged carnal knowledge. The children were living in the house in which accused was a hoarder, and Ihe evidence was described by the Judge, Mr. Justice Hordman, as being of a revolting nature. Prisoner was remanded until next Wednesday for-sentence.
