RETIRING FROM POST OFFICE PRESENTATION FROM STAFF. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] WELLINGTON, Thursday. "From a lad in the Blenheim office, Mr. Markman rose through determination and, zeal for his duties to the highest position open to him in the department. In presenting Mr. and Mrs. Markman with a solid silver tea and coffee service, the Minister remarked that the fact that officers of, the department in all parts of New Zealand had subscribed to the presentation was evidence that the recipient held the coodwill of the service throughout the Dominion.
