PORT OF SYDNEY.

LOWER TRAFFIC RETURNS. ILL-EFFECT OF DISPUTES. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. Oct. 27. The report "of the Sydney Harbour Trust Commissioners was laid on the table in the Legislative Assembly to-day. This shows that for the year ended June 30 last the receipts totalled £1,015,877 and the expenditure £825,547. In the year 7652 vessels- of an aggregate of 15,000,000 tons entered the port. This is a decrease of 440 vessels of an aggregate of 660,000 tons compared with the previous year. The decrease is largely attributed to industrial disputes in England and Australia and to the curtailment of the inter-State services.
