AUCKLAND LADIES' CLUB. The annual meeting of the Auckland Ladies' Golf Club and the presentation of prizes will be held to-morrow week, November 5. The closing match of the season—Canadian foursomes—will be played in the morning, partners and opponents to be arranged by the players. Following are the results of the bogey match played on Tuesday:—Mrs. L. Cutfield. 4 down; Mrs. Hodgea. 5 down; Mies E. Wilson. 5 down; Mrs. Wright, 5 down; Mrs. Gorrie, 5 down; Miss L. Morris. 5 down; Miss B. McGovern, G down: Mrs. Hushes, 6 down. The monthly medal match will be played on Tuesday next, entries closing to-morrow. WANGANUI TOURNAMENT. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WANGANUI, Wednesday. The large number of golfers at present assembled in Wanganui in connefction with the Seafield tournament had a glorious fine day for the continuation of the games. In Ihe semi-finals Goss defeated Stringer, 4 :p and 3; and Black defeated Harold, 5 up and 4. In the final Goss defeated Black. The final for the Spring vale Cup, between J. Aldred and T. Howie, was won by Aldred, 3 up and 1. The professional bogey match resulted:— A. Shaw and Mackintosh, .1 up: J. Forrest and J. Laurie, all square; T. GaUoway and C. Clements, 1 down: H. R. Blair and R. C. Butters, 1 down; H. Macdougall and Grcig, 2 down; L. Ross and J. Wallace, 2 down; J. llelleway ana F. Franch, 2 down; McCormack and Beaver, 4 down; J. Moss and J. Ross. -5 down; Smith and Forrest, 5 down; Macrae and J. Clements, 7 down; Melvin and Ritchie, 7 down Great interest centred in the professional matches for the Chronicle championship. The leaders after two rounds are:—J. A. Clements, 156; E. J. Moss. 157; J. K. Galloway. 158; A. J. Shaw, 159; and H. R. Blair, 160. The two concluding rounds will be played to-morrow.
