JURY DISAGREES.
' TRIAL OF A TRAMWAYMAN. ! Charged on four counts of indecent exposure arising out of incidents in Silver Road, Epsom, on June 26 and July 19, • Bertram O'Connor, tramways employee, of Mount- Eden (Mr. Davis), appeared s for trial in the Supreme Court yesterday. - After a setirement of four hours the jury disagreed. Tli6 defence was an alibi, concerning ' which Mr. Justice Herdman commented th.at the jury was Entitled to take into ! consideration the fact that it was a family one and that there had been no montion i of it until the accused appeared for trial. : A new trial was ordered to take place jit next sessions. •
