MARRIED COUPLES.

j Sir, —In Monday's Hkralp a case is quoted of a farmer outside Waverley being unable to get a married couple..' May I suggest there are score of married couple's who came out from England with the sole idea of farming, but farmers don't want learners, however willing they may be. lam a married man, young and strong, my wifo is a good cook and can do anything in the house, including washing. Yet we have answered scores of advertisements, but always get the same answers, viz., "We want experienced people," or "We want a couple with no children" {we have one child of three). If the. farmers cannot get experienced help why not give the willing but inexperienced emigrants a chance. After all, that is what they are brought out for. Two Years' Tejeb.
