BOXING.
TOURNAMENT AT WAIHI. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT 1 WAIHI, Tuesday. Tho Waihi Boxing Association held n successful tournament last evening. The principal event was the professional bout between J. Broodfoot (Waihi). 11.6, and X. Young (Te Aroha), 11.4. Tho contest went tho full ten rounds, and the Waihi man was always well in the lead. The only feature in Young's display was his pluck and the great capacity he showed for taking punishment.
