Tho weather was bright at Flemington this morning and training work was invested with much interest. Pantheon beat Rampion over a mile and a-quarter on the course proper in 2m Ills, the first mile being compassed in lm 45}s. Manfred, assisted by Accarak, did the last, seven of eleven furlongs on the tan in lm 28s. Limerick did useful work on the tan. He was a trifle lame, but walked away all riftht. Epilogue did ten furlongs on the tan in 2m 16is. Amounis and Aorangi ran five> furlongs in lm ss. Raron beat Piastoon over ten furlongs in 2m 13Js. Valicaire ran six furlongs in lm 21s, the last five in lm 6s. Laneham ran four furlongs on the grass in 51 Js, and Johnnie Jones completed five furlongs in lm 6s. Valamita ran ten furlongs in 2m 225. and Longworthy completed a similar task easily in 2m 15s. At Caulfield Red Shank did a mile and'ahalf in 2m 34b, going well. Henare beat Satyrus over seen furlongs in lm 29is. Cromwell ran ten furlonps on tho outside of the track. Parilta beat Paroodus over ten furlongs in 2m 12s. Bavado covered seven furlongs in lm 295. Spearfelt. after exercising in striding, ran four furlongs in 50s.
