MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. Nonpareil.—Work has been continued on the Shamrock Reef driving seaward. The cross reef, which it was considered might bo the Moanataiari cross lode, proved to be a leader 9in. in width, crossing tho face at a long angle. Tho quartz in this leader is highly mineralised and the indications are conducive to making gold. It is also responsible for an increased flow of water which has to be contended with. A nice rib of quartz in the hangingwall portion of the Shamrock reef, measuring Bm. in width, bears a very promising appearance, containinj silica, pyrites, iron and copper strata., rnata and other minerals, and should make gold at any time.
