The local office of the Union Company has received advice that the Island steamer Tofua arrived at S*ava on Thursday morning. She was to sail at midnight last night on the round trip of tho islands and her final departure from Suva for Auckland is scheduled for October 28. TUEAKINA DUE ON MONDAY. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Turakina, which left Liverpool for New Zealand on September 11, has wirelessed that she expects to arrive here on Monday. The Canadian Scottish, which left Montreal on September 25 for Auckland with cargo from Eastern Canadian ports, has arrived at Colon She is due hero about November 10, and after discharge will go to Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Napier. ARAWA LEFT LONDON. With passengers, mails and general cargo for New Zealand ports, the Shaw. Savill and Albion liner Arawa left Liverpool on Tuesday for Auckland where she is expected about November 20. After discharge at Auckland she will go to Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin. L. D. She will load gas cylinders during the morning for the unwatched lighthouses in tho Hauraki Gulf. On her return tho following week, she will ship stores for the northern lighthouses. MAHANA SAILED FOR AUCKLAND. Tho Shaw. Savill and Albion Company's steamer Mahana left London for Auckland on Wednesday, and is expected to arrive about November 23. On her first trip to New Zealand, the Canadian Government steamer Canadian Commander baa reported by wireless that she expects to arrive at Auckland this evening. She will berth at Prince s Wharf. After discharging the Auckland consignment of general cargo from Eastern Canadian ports phe will leave for Wellington, Lyttelton. Timaru and Dunedin to complete discharge and also to load.
