SCHOOL ROAD RACE.
HAMILTON MARIST PUPILS. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.'] HAMILTON. Thursday. -An interesting road race of two miles was run by over 50 pupils of the Hamilton Marist school this afternoon. The course was along the boundaries of Hamilton East and was completed in excellent time. The following are the results : Juniors.—J. Kane, 465, 1; H. Mclnallay, 755., 2; T. Mclnally, 2m., J. Waters, 15s, G. Chitty 30s, (equal), 3. Tha scratch boy, F. Cassidy, ran the course in 13m 355, the fastest time. Kane's time was 14m 30s. There were 31 entries. Seniors.—D. Ryan, scr., 1; P. Hair, 30s, 2; G. Peters, 30s, 3, . Ryan's was i the fastest time, 12m 50s. Hair and j Paters ran the course in 13m 30s and 13m 40s reapectrvely. There ware 22 en-; trios.
